This listing is for my unframed original art piece "Forgotten Connections". The size is 9.5"x12" (image size, not including border). This piece is on 100% cotton textured watercolor paper. The backgound was painted with a light wash of watercolors and the rest was drawn with Prismacolor pencils. Will be shipped flat in a rigid mailer with cardboard around it to keep from bending. This will be mailed flat with cardboard to keep it from bending.
Oddly, this piece was inspired by a documentary about the Universe (narrated by the amazing Morgan Freeman) and how every single thing is connected but we have forgotten this long ago. The subject is actually something that does exist in real life, but I gave it a surreal feel so that you can't quite tell what it is....plant, animal, mineral, alien? It doesn't matter, because it is the same as us, just like everything else we see.
