This listing is for my unframed small mixed media original "The Banksia is Watching." The size is 6"x8". This piece is on Strathmore Mixed Media paper. The background is in watercolor, and the details are done is water soluble tinted graphite and the outlines are in black ink. I then added just a hint more color on the eyes with colored pencils, since I can never seem to resist colored pencils. These are Banksia seed pods which apparently grow in Australia - I had never seen them before and when I discovered them I just had an urge to draw them with eyes because they look a bit creepy anyway!
Will be shipped flat in a rigid mailer with cardboard around it to keep from bending.
