This listing is for my original mixed media piece "A Series of Theories, Part 1". The size is 8"x8" on a 5/8" deep stretched canvas, although the raised texture protrudes from the canvas making the depth variable. The materials are air dry clay, paper for texture, and acrylic paints in shades of purple, aqua, and metallic copper. The finish is matte, giving it a more antiqued look rather than shiny metal. This is the first in a series I have planned that will hopefully be 12 pieces, if my little ADHD squirrel brain can stick with it long enough - I have never done a series before and have always wanted to! The edges are painted so that it can be hung as it is or framed - I have signed on the back and not added a hanger because this piece can be hung in any direction so I did not want to limit that, however I can include a small sawtooth hanger if desired. This piece is not super fragile, but should be handled with care so as not to chip the clay parts. I will ship this very well padded in a box.
