This listing is for my unframed original mixed media painting "Watcher". The size is 16"x20" on a 5/8" deep stretched canvas, although the face protrudes from the canvas making the depth closer to about 2". This subject has a vaguely ominous feel while also being whimsical. The materials are paper clay and various acrylic paints in deep earthy jewel tones with a faint dusting of copper and gold paint over the textures, giving it a slightly tarnished metallic look. The textures were made with no tools, just my bare hands and some foxgloves leaves from my yard as I love the impression those leaves make. This painting is being sold unframed, I did roughly paint the edges so it can be hung without if desired as well - it does not have a hanger as those are usually put on the frame - I recommend a fairly sturdy hanger, it is not terribly heavy but the clay makes it a little heavier than an average painting this size. I have signed on the back so as not to detract from the design.
