This adorable little outfit includes a shirt, pants, vest, and hat. It is a one of a kind outfit that I made up as I went, so there won't be another exactly like it!
The shirt is made of leaf green 100% cotton. It is a loose fitting pullover style with long straight sleeves. There are metal grommets and cotton ribbon that lace up at the neck slit. It is lightweight and comfy and can be worn with or without the vest.
The vest is made of a lighter green yarn dyed linen. It simply slips on and has no closures, and comes to points in both the back and front like a little sleeveless tailcoat. It is fully lined in the same linen and is fairly lightweight yet sturdy.
The pants are very loose a puffy, they are made of an adorable bright green batik cotton with a sort of mottles tie-dye look and pea pod designs all over - this fabric was so cute I could not resist it and the whole outfit was based on it! The pants are lightweight and super soft, they are perfect for warm weather and can be worn as regular pants for anytime as well.
The hat is a cute pointed gnome/pixie style made of mossy green merino wool. The curled top has a pea pod type "stem" and little leaves made of lighter wool felt, and one side has a slit open to show the "peas" inside. It has cotton ribbon ties under the chin to help it stay on, and it is lined in the vest linen.
This outfit is perfect for photo shoots, birthdays, costume parties, Halloween, or even just dress up! The pieces are all very comfortable and can be worn separately as well or mix with regular clothing for a fun look! The shirt, vest, and pants are machine washable and dry-able, I recommend gentle hand washing and air drying the hat.
