SALE! This is a new style we are trying out, they are a sligtly modernized twist on some of our medieval styled shoes. I have an old foot injury that hurts when I wear most modern shoes, so our shoe guy (Ian) makes me turn shoes to wear as my everyday shoes - this is a style he just came up with that I absolutely love wearing, and we thought we might start making some to sell here. This pair is discounted because he wasn't fully happy with the new pattern, the center seam is just a little off and the extra insole didn't fit quite perfectly - neither issue looks obvious or affects the durability of the shoes. This pair is made of black cowhide. They have punched holes for the lacing and black soft cotton ribbon to lace them up (it looks a bit brown in these photos for some reason but the lacings are actually black!). There is a vegetable tanned leather insole and on top of that there is another suede insole in black for a little extra cushioning. They are soft and flexible and shape to your feet with a little wear so they are super comfortable.
