These shoes are made in standard women’s US sizes 6-11.
This style was originally made just for me to use as regular every day shoes - they are not historic replicas like most of our designs, so we have named them the "Allegany" shoe after the little rural community we live in. I have old foot injuries that make modern shoes painful to wear, so Ian (the shoe guy) designed these and I wear them everywhere now! Since these are my new favorite shoe, I talked him into making them for the shop too - they would look great for costumes but also are a wonderful option for those who like a soft flexible shoe.
These shoes are made of 5oz black cowhide. They have punched holes for the lacing and black soft cotton ribbon to lace them up. There is a vegetable tanned leather insole and on top of that there is another suede insole in black for a little extra cushioning. They are soft and flexible and shape to your feet with a little wear so they are super comfortable.
