This adorable costume set includes a gown, ruffled collar and cuffs, and a hoop skirt petticoat. It is a one of a kind costume, there won't be another exactly like it!
The gown has a semi-fitted bodice and very full gathered skirt. The main fabric on the bodice is black velvet, with the front panel is bright red rayon. The front is decorated with criss-cross black cotton ribbons with little rhinestones in the middles, and there is wide ribbon trim with playing card designs and white pleated trim. The skirt is made of the red rayon and is very soft and has a nice drape to it. The sleeves are made of shiny satin with vertical black and white stripes, they have elastic in several places to make "puffs" all down the arms. The bodice is lined in soft rayon and laces up in back with metal grommets and cotton ribbon.
The collar and cuffs are made of white linen. The collar has a cotton drawstring that ties in the back, so it is adjustable to any size you like (a lot of toddlers don't like things very tight on their necks so you can leave is a little looser if needed) and the cuffs have an elastic band inside so they simply slip on over the hands.
The hoop skirt petticoat was not made by us, but I had several so I'm including it with this dress! It is a basic white hoop skirt with net ruffles over it and a drawstring waist, adjustable to many child sizes.

Collar and cuffs are machine washable and dry-able. The dress can be washed on cold/gentle cycle or hand washed, I recommend turning it inside out if machine washed to protect the rhinestones and trims. Air dry.
