These lightweight soft shoes are great for little developing feet! They are lighter weight soft leather in mahogany brown with a double layered black suede sole. They are made like a medieval turn shoe, so although they are not based on historic findings they have a vintage/historic look and work well with costumes as well as for regular wear. These shoes feel more like a slipper and do not squeeze or compress the feet, letting them grow naturally and giving a bit better balance for little ones who are new to walking. They have a soft cotton ribbon that runs through a casing in the back to tighten them and tie them on in front - the ribbon is stitched in at the back so it won't slip out. We carry these in standard US baby sizes 6 through child size 13. (Not recommended for mud/rain)
